Sea World Fun

On Tuesday the kids and I took Aunt Katelin to Sea World. We had a blast!! We saw the whale show "Believe" and the dolphin show "Viva".

Here we are about to enter the park.

We had great seats for "Believe". In fact, we were in the splash zone as you will soon see. It was definitely worth it because we had a great view of all the whales and the kids could see well.

One of the whales leaping.

This gives you an idea that we were close - this picture is a little zoomed in but not a lot.

Katelin and the girls after the show - a little wet!

Mommy and C - a little wet!!

After the show Beverly took off to see one of the trainers.

A and Katelin enjoying a climb.

Oh, I have so many more photos. Audrey riding her first roller coaster, the Shamoo Express, with aunt Katelin. The girls feeding fish to the dolphins. Everyone looking at flamingos. It was just a fun trip. Exhausting but fun! I am glad we were able to do it. Hope everyone else is having a fun summer :)

Successful First Birthday Party

Well, we survived Clay's first birthday party - and had a great time doing it! Clay had lots of loved ones come to his party and I think everyone had a great time. David was able to create a moving train cake which was definitely the highlight of the party. My husband is amazing with baked goods!! Check out the short video below to see the cake in action.

And this is a cute picture of me and C with his train outfit on complete with his new conductor's hat! I think Big Boy had a great time at his party. Thank you to everyone who was able to come and all the well wishes from those who were not able to make it. We have lots of other great pictures but it would take forever to post them all.

Happy Birthday C!!!

Well, big boy is officially 1 today! As of 4:33 am this morning to be exact. And he apparently knows that it is his birthday as he is being more daring today than I have seen him. Check out the below photos that I took just a few moments ago after coming into the living room. This is what I found - I love the progression of his expressions.

Oh, mom - you caught me.

Don't I look cute - remember it is my birthday.

Well, you can't be too upset - you are taking pictures of me!

We are going to go to the park this afternoon just to have a fun day in honor of C. Hope you are having a good day!

Berries, Berries & More Berries

Well, the kids and I went to Sweet Berry Farm this morning and were able to pick some strawberries and blackberries. It was a beautiful day and we took the scenic route. I highly recommend it if you can get past the curvy road. We even spotted an armadillo which was a highlight for the girls.

B telling me how to pick a good strawberry :)

I love this picture of A bending down to pick a ripe strawberry.

Yes, even big boy himself was able to pick a few.

The kids enjoying the reward at the end!!

We hosted a birthday celebration for our friend Maura on Saturday night. We had a great time - BBQ, cake & ice cream, and good fellowship. It was great to celebrate together. Here is a picture of David and C in their matching shirts from Hawaii (courtesy of Aunt Jane - thanks Jane!).

Cute shirts!

And yes, despite the fact that most of the invitations have not been mailed we are celebrating Clay's first birthday next Sunday, May 25th at our house. If you are reading this then you are probably invited and feel free to come - we would love to have you!! The party is officially from 4-8pm and we will provide dinner and of course, cake & ice cream. Okay, that's it for now. I cannot believe C is almost 1!!!!

Farewell and More

I wanted to let everyone know that our neighbor and dear friend, Tracy, passed away on Tuesday night around 9pm. She turned 39 a month ago. For those that know her she truly was an amazing person and she will be missed greatly by my family alone. I am glad that she is no longer suffering and she is with the Lord.

Here is a picture of her baptism a little over a year ago. Looking at this picture just makes me smile and remember the fun times. Thanks to all who have been praying for her, she is no longer in pain.

For other news, we found out on Monday that Clay has PINK eye. Yikes!! No one in my family has had pink eye so this is a new one but his eyes already look so much better after only a few days of treatment. Beverly has a very mild case and Audrey is in the clear so far.

And we have been out of a washer machine for almost a week. The repair man came yesterday and is convinced that it is the "board" and is suppose to be back this morning to finish the repair. I hope he does because I have a significant amount of laundry piling up.

That's the scoop for now from the Cummins Clan.
