Moms' Night Out DVD Review and Family Christian Giveaway

Remember my book review on Moms' Night Out?  I recently had the chance to watch the movie on DVD.  And just like when I read Tricia Goyer's novelization I found myself laughing out loud at several points in the movie.  Allyson and her friends are in desperate need of a peaceful night out but what ensues is a hilarious series of events that Moms everywhere can identify with and appreciate.

The cast is spot on in this film.  I especially loved Sarah Drew as Allyson, Sean Astin as Sean, Patricia Heaton as Sondra, Kevin Downes as Kevin and Trace Adkins as the biker Bones.  And of course it was fun to see Alex Kendrick in the film.  I am a huge fan of Courageous, Fireproof, Facing the Giants and FlyWheel

I can really relate to the fact that parents don't always have the answers or have it all together and that is okay.  Love and family are what is truly important and that far outweighs knowing everything.  Jesus loves us for being us, not being perfect!  I think that is the take home message of the film and it is a good one.
