Happy 10th Birthday A - Dolphin Party

Today A turns 10!  Here she is with baby F.

We had a super fun party for her last weekend - dolphin themed.  And I was able to have a little fun planning it, even with a two week old!

 Our Goldfish Bar.  I bought medium sized goldfish bowls and served a variety of goldfish crackers.

 Goldfish Marshmallow Pops - kids loved these.

I usually make my own fruit trays but this time I bought one (I do have a newborn at home).  Bonus: It came with a caramel dip!

This is a staple at parties in Texas - just sayin'.

 A made some seashell and dolphin candy molds - always fun.

Found some fun Shamu and Friends Crackers - perfect addition.

And of course, we went out with a bang - the dolphin pinata.

A - I hope you had a great party.  Double digits already - sigh...

  7. Maura, they were pretty easy. I actually made two kinds but the photos of the other ones were dark. I bought both plain and coconut (large size) marshmallows. Then I melted blue candy wafers/melts in the microwave. Dip you stick into the melted wafers and insert into the marshmallows. Freeze for 15 minutes. Then dip or spread the melted wafers on the tops of the marshmallows, add a goldfish and two white ball sprinkles for bubbles. I use a circular styrofoam piece to hold the pops when I am finished and in the freezer. Freeze for 10 minutes until set - voila! Leave some of the brown on the bottom of the coconut ones for sand effect.
