Inspirational People & $25 Target Giveaway

Inspirational People - they are all around me.  I have found them in history books, in current day events, in my own family, within my circle of friends, my neighbors, my church body, my homeschool community - so many.  A little over 12 weeks ago, the girls were in their accident and I am not going to lie, it has been hard.  Yet, I am so blessed to have so many truly positive and inspirational people in my life.  I can only hope that I shine some of that back.

Have you heard of the heartwarming hit series BORN THIS WAY on A&E Network?  I actually just found out about it a few weeks ago when I was fumbling around on the A&E app on my Ipad because most nights I have trouble sleeping (contractions and all).  I have watched a few episodes of Season 1.  I love that while the cast shares the fact that they were all born with Down Syndrome, they all do not want that to define who they are or what they can accomplish.  Season 2 premieres next Tuesday, July 26th (which also happens to be my Dad's birthday - Happy early birthday Dad).

BORN THIS WAY chronicles the lives a a group of young adults born with Down syndrome as they pursue their passions while defying society's expectations.  The show also follows the journey of their parents as well.  I really enjoy the snippets from the parents throughout the show.

Check out this fun clip that shares the heart and depth of this series which introduces you to Rachel, one of the cast members.  And please watch the trailer below for more information.
