Our Fischertechnik Mechanic & Static 2 kit
Above you can see the different models on the back of our box.
{The models include a Bar, a Turntable, a few different Crank Gears, an Inclined Plane with Vehicle, a few different vehicles, a Handcart, A Cardan Joint, Gearbox, a Planetary Gear, Bevel Gear, a Kitchen Appliance, A differential Gear, a Scissor Lift Table with Steering System, a Windshield Wiper, A Four-bar Chain, a Power Hacksaw Machine, a Beam and Scales, a Scales with Sliding Weight, a Lifting Tackle, A Table, A Double Ladder, a Girder Bridge, a Bridge with Underbeam, a Bridge with Upperbeam, a Cable-stayed Bridge, and a Crane.}
This particular set includes 500 parts for building 30 different models (named above) and is targeted at kids 9 and older. It includes a Fischertechnik XS motor (which requires a 9V battery, not included). C (age 12) has really been enjoying building the various models. So far, he has built the bar, turntable, crank gears, inclined plane with vehicle, different vehicles and the crane, which is super impressive! These models show how gear systems work and also how structures are made stable. I appreciate that kids have plenty of opportunity to design and build their own models as well.

This looks so fantastic! I have an 11 year old son who is a LEGO lover. I bet he'd enjoy putting this together.
