Introducing Miss D

Yeah, yeah I know it will be two weeks tomorrow and I haven't posted any pics of our D. Well here we go...

We are still in the delivery room. This picture was taken pretty soon after birth.

Bouncing Babies

My baby seems to be moving all the time - hopefully this one will decide to go ahead and have a birthday, though! I'm honestly amazed that I'm still pregnant at this point.

I thought I'd share some photos of the kids waiting for this new arrival - they have been jumping a lot, and it's pretty fun! Enjoy ...

Hanging Around

We are just hanging out waiting for baby D to make an appearance, sort of. I go to the doctor tomorrow and I will be 35 weeks and 4 days!! Somehow, David and I got a week off and we were thinking a few weeks ago that we were a week ahead of what we actually were. Anyhow, we are back on track now. We had a couple close calls last week when we thought the baby might be coming but baby D has been cooperating and decided it was for the best to stay put (at least a little longer). Thanks grandma for coming and helping out - we know it made a big difference! Our goal is to make it to Sunday, 36 weeks.

Here are a few pictures.

A showing me her portrait of me. Isn't it great??

B dancing around the house in her Thumbelina costume.
She doesn't have the wings on at this exact moment.

A showing off her face paint from the church festival on Halloween.

Hopefully I can find a good picture of C (he was Thomas the Train for Halloween) and A (she was Barbie getting married) in their costumes.

Happy Jonah Day - whoops - Happy Columbus Day

The kids and I had a fun time today learning about Columbus and Jonah. They both liked boats right?? Here are the kids enjoying the Jonah watercolor book.

C loves any kind of paint product!

When the watercolor dries we will move on to the Columbus festivities!! Hope you are having a good one.

Run Austin Run

David did it! He completed his first half marathon this morning!! Yeah, I am so proud of him. I wish the kids and I could have been there to support him but I am really trying to take it easy as I am 33 weeks pregnant today (and so far no bed rest :).

The Great Pumpkin Patch

Our family ventured out to the pumpkin patch yesterday and had a great time. We wanted to go right after church but we had to wait for the downpour to finish (don't get me wrong, I am grateful for rain). David and the kids actually had a puddle stomping afternoon before the pumpkins. Ahhh, I love October.

Love the pumpkins!

The kids enjoying the pumpkins.

C romping in some of the pumpkins!

And a fun picture of B enjoying her snack time yesterday - as always, love the hair :)

Go Tigers!!

A has started playing soccer a few weeks ago and we finally remembered to bring the camera to take a few pictures of her. She is on the Tigers and plays for the YMCA. Our goal for her is to have fun - and every week she does :) Enjoy these pictures from the game this morning.

A's Bike Party

I am back!! I cannot believe it has been so long but well, here I am again. I just love October, don't you??

A has learned to ride her bike without training wheels and today was the big party to celebrate. David made a cake and we got a few balloons and headed to the park (with bike of course :) It worked out fabulous because some of our friends happened to be there and we really got to have a "party" for it. Thanks friends.

A's pink cake (well inside is anyway) - yummy!

Finishing a lap around the playground

Enjoying the cake with friends :)

And for the grand finale...

Six States in Six Days

Well, we are back from our adventure to Wisconsin and I am finally blogging some pictures of the trip. We had a great time with family and I am so glad we were able to go.

Here are all the Moran Grandkids together in Plano
We were able to make a quick stop on our way out of Texas for breakfast.

Arriving in Iowa

We were able to meet our friends (who live down the street from us!) in their homestate of Iowa and have lunch. Here are the kiddos outside the restaurant riding the pig!

Aunt Katelin and Uncle Allen finishing their Afghan cuisine.
We were able to eat at an Afghan restaurant in Madison with them - yummy food!

Enjoying some ice cream at a local shop that to me is a cross between an Amy's and a Maggie Moos. The feel of Madison is so much like Austin it was like being home.

One of the things the kids enjoyed immensely was staying in hotels. We don't normally do this very much so it is considered a treat.

Here is A showing off her stuff at the hotel. Notice C getting ready for launch.

And here is B...

Double Launch!! Wouldn't you love to stay next to us in a hotel :)

We were able to go to the Zoo in Madison, which by the way is free. And it is great so if you are ever in town you really should go! Mom and Dad met us there which was nice because we haven't seen them in a really long time.

Yes, we are having ice cream again!

My monkeys: A, B & C

Uncle Allen and C playing frisbee

That doesn't sum up everything but it gives you an idea of our trip. We have lots of other pictures! And here are the most recent pictures of baby D taken the day before we left for Wisconsin.

Looking at baby's face

Baby's feet

When the tech was finished with our ultrasound she asked us if there were any pictures we wanted her to take and I asked for one of the feet - I love baby feet - don't know why but they are so cute.

Okay, this was a long post. Thanks for hanging with me.

Not even a pound...

Well I went in for my ultrasound this afternoon of baby D and again we took the kiddos. I know, I know...most people think we are crazy but I think it is neat that the kids get to feel a part and see the baby too!

We do not know the sex so everyone will have to wait to find out! Everything looks great. It took awhile for the tech to say those words. She kept going back to baby D's heart and I couldn't figure out why. Finally she told me that she could only see one of the outflows and she needed to see two. At last at the very end she saw what she wanted to and looked relieved - two outflows - praise God!! The baby is not even a pound yet and he/she is all over the place. I think that is why it took the tech awhile to find everything b/c this one is a mover and a shaker. I started feeling the baby move at 14 weeks (which is super early) - in fact, David could feel the baby move too which I thought pretty amazing.

We are headed out of Austin in a matter of hours now off to visit family in Wisconsin. Please pray for safe travel and health for all of us!!

And because I haven't really done a pregnant pose yet during my pregnancy, here it goes!

Happy 4th Everyone!

We went to Harper Park, a park right down the street from us, this afternoon and the kids had a blast. We rode the train through the grass, the kids got their faces painted, and we played lots of games - almost like another carnival. The kids got lots of goodies and got to run around and I am glad we went. We are still trying to figure out what we will be doing tonight but I wanted to wish everyone a Happy 4th. Enjoy the pictures.

B at breakfast

A at breakfast. Notice the glass cup. David said she could use a glass cup on the 4th and she has been patiently waiting for that!

The Baseball game and the big splat

We had a great time at the Round Rock Express baseball game last night - and they won 3 to 2!! We let the kids live it up as they enjoyed hot dogs, lemonades, cotton candy, popcorn, and sno-cones! Did I mention we are broke now?? Just kidding but that is some serious dough. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and I got to hang out with my kiddos and my favorite guy!

And then we had the big splat. Somewhere around the 8th inning A and C had a minor collision which sent C head first into the concrete stairs. Sad times - but he is recovering well. Boys are tough I tell you. Here are a few pics.
