{I love his shirt from Aunt Jane and Uncle Bob}
C is officially a teenager (as of yesterday)! David and I are now outnumbered by teenagers 😉. A and B decorated above C's bed while he slept so when he woke up in the morning he had a birthday banner, balloons, and candy hanging from his ceiling (13 pieces of candy).C wanted brownies for breakfast. We organized a birthday parade in the afternoon and it was so fun to see friends drive-by and celebrate him. They did such a great job decorating their cars and making homemade signs, it was lovely. We gave out cotton candy with $13 Chick-fil-A gift cards to each car that came to say thank you.
Quarantine Party Favors
I was so impressed with all of the super thoughtful gifts that everyone gave C. D and E made a homemade Monopoly PEZ edition game for him and they did such a great job creating everything. It is super impressive. A and B created a scavenger hunt all throughout the house that had 13 treasures waiting for him with each clue. It was so fun! One of my favorite treasures in the hunt was the 13 Star Wars creations they made with Perler Beads.
Aren't these the best?
David and I made a Quaranteen money cake. This is the first money cake we have every made and it was super fun. We used 13 one dollar bills since he turned 13. C wanted lemon so it's lemon flavored. Check out the short video of the cake in action below. I'm thinking C had a great birthday.

Wow! Sounds like quite a special birthday. My kids are obsessed with peeler beads too!
Aww sounds like he had a great time. I’ve loved seeing all the ‘out of the box’ ideas for celebration during this time.
I love the birthday cake. The Star Wars 'figures' came out really cool. And how thoughtful to have the cotton candy favors with gift cards.
