Snail Mail - Making New Friends and Filling My Mail Box

Do you love mail?  I am not talking about email or even texts but physical mail that comes to your mail box - you know the one outside!  Well, if you know me - you know I love mail.  And starting last month I joined a Blog Pals Snail Mail Program started by Michelle and Christianna.   It has only just begun and I am having a lot of fun with it.

 

I was matched with Laurie over at The Brotherton's.  Please, please check out her blog - you won't regret it.  I love her sense of style and zeal for life!  It was a bit difficult to decide what to send Laurie (after all, first impressions are big).  I ended up settling on a cute card, a small Chick-fil-A gift card (everyone loves Chick-fil-A), and the kiddos picked out some smiley stickers.  This month Laurie will write me back so it will be fun to continue our friendship and I will continue to read her blog.  And I received a nice note from April. 

 

It made my day when I checked my mail and found something more personal.  And of course the mystery of figuring out who April was and then it dawned on me - she was my blog pal :). 

I look forward to getting to know these ladies better and meeting new friends!
