Cuties and Fun

The girls and I made our first cuties today!! What are cuties you ask - well, they are clothspin dolls. And we had a great time. A made a princess (with a little help from me) and B made a mermaid (with a lot more help from me). See pictures below.

B with her "before" cutie - this is how they started.

We had a great weekend with Aunt Stephanie and the Bean. They were able to come and stay a few days with us. We went to the jumpy place, the outlet mall, and much more! Stephanie and I even were able to have a girls night out and my friend Mellissa was able to come as well. We sang for free ice-cream at Amy's and then saw a movie - fun times! Thanks for coming Sam and Bean (Trent too!!).

General News and Such

Well, the garage sale is over and I think we did pretty well. We made ~ $400. There were three families that had items in the sale and I think we sold around $1,000 worth!!! Kind of motivates me to want to have more but it is a lot of work.

C is 11 months old today. I cannot believe that he is almost 1. I took the kids to the park today and he was all over the place with the girls. I think we are going to have his party on May 25th so for those that need a heads up - there it is.

A has another ear infection - yikes! I think the first one never fully went away so we are on a new antibiotic. Hopefully this will take care of it. Luckily she has still been able to go to her swimming lessons and she is looking forward to her one tonight.

And for the big news....drum roll please....we will be taking a family trip overseas this summer to Morocco. We are really excited. The kids have never been on an airplane so it will be an adventure just to get there. We haven't figured out all the details so I will try and keep you updated as we know more.

I guess that is about it around here. Hope everyone is well.

Stylin' Shoes and My Munchkins

As promised here are a few pictures of C in his new stride rite shoes. I must say they are pretty stylish. Thanks to the Grands for purchasing them :) He also has another pair of sandals but I do not have a picture of those yet. And for those of you who are worrying, don't because he spends most of his time barefoot...which is best. But I love these shoes!

C figuring out that walking is slightly different in shoes...

I love the above picture of A, B, and C! I took this photo this afternoon as we were on our way to Target to pick up some extra labels. I am gearing up for a garage sale this weekend that we are having with a friend. We did one last November and it was a huge success. I think we made ~ $550. I hope to do well again but de-cluttering is a reward in itself. Hope everyone is well. Please pray for my sister as she finds out tomorrow if she is pregnant!!!!

Weekend of Fun

We had a great family weekend. On Saturday, we went to a Healthy Kids Day at the YMCA. They had lots of activities for the kids to participate in: face painting, coloring, physical fitness testing, tumbling, sack races, hula hoops, bouncy house, riding in the firetruck, rock climbing & more!! A was extremely disappointed that she could not do the rock climbing - she is a fabulous climber but she was ~ 10 lbs under the weight limit - maybe next time. We also got to see two of the kids friends play soccer which was a treat. Clay decided that he loves soccer and tried to sneak on the field a few times.

Here are the kids all in the firetruck. B is hiding!

B had to try on the hat. The fireman was afraid it would smush her so he held it on her head so I could take a picture. You might also be able to tell that the girls have rainbows on their faces.

Daddy and C. You can see the rock wall in the background that A wanted to climb.

A doing her physical fitness testing run. Go, go go...

C wanting to make his move for the field.

And Sunday was a family filled day. Grandma and Grandpa were able to come up for the afternoon and we had a great time visiting with them. Jane and Bob also stopped in for a surprise visit. Everyone got to see C take a few steps. The Grands and I were able to take C to the mall and buy him some styling new shoes - I will have to have him model them in another posting. And then to top it all off, David and I were able to go on a date last night for a few hours.

So, here's to an amazing weekend. Hope everyone else was able to have a great one.

Back to a Family of 5 and only 3 kiddos!

Well, my extra kiddos left this morning. I miss them already. It was fun having them around. My whole family will probably take a good nap today :) Here are a few pictures from our adventures.

Everyone at the dinner table, except me taking the photo.

Our dairy queen adventure. You should have seen the look on the cashier's face when I said I would like 11 dipped cones! Everyone got one except C - almost time big boy.

A lifting up C!

Family of 12

Well, we are officially a family of 12 - at least for a few days. Our good friends went to Cozumel for a family wedding and we are watching 7 of their 8 precious children along with our 3! So that makes 10 kiddos running around and a lot of excitement. I am a little bummed that the weather didn't cooperate today (it's raining) - at least yesterday we had an opportunity to be outside most of the day. Our big treat tonight is taking the kids to Dairy Queen and they each get a dipped ice cream cone. They are super pumped - the little things. I will try and post some pictures when I can.
