Pennington Smart Feed Sprayer System

What is the Pennington Smart Feed Sprayer System?  It's an easy way to apply fertilizer, with no mixing, no measuring and no mess.  You just attach the sprayer to your hose, load in a pre-measured fertilizer tablet and spray to release essential nutrients for your plants.

This system is extremely easy to use, you only need one hand.  The clear chamber will allow you to see when each tablet is dissolved.  The Smart Feed Sprayer has four different settings so you can select the right spray pattern for your needs.

Tablets are available in all purpose, flowers & blooms, and tomato & vegetable.  The sprayer system retails for $12.99 while the tablets themselves start at $9.99.  They are sold at Walmart, Home Depot and Lowe's so you shouldn't have a problem finding one near you!  I am really looking forward to starting my next garden and using this system to hopefully grow bigger and better veggies!

I really like the rich lather that this foam soap creates.  After using it my hands really do feel softer and definitely cleaner.  This particular scent, Creamy Vanilla Orchid, is not extremely subtle - it is not overly powerful either but it is definitely stronger than my previous hand soaps.  I have grown to really like the scent and feel of this soap on my hands.  Have you tried it yet?  If so, what do you think?

Super WHY and Alpha-Bits

My latest Bzz Agent campaign is with Alpha-Bits!  We have been trying out their new Super WHY Alpha-Bits cereal!  It is definitely a hit around here for both breakfast and snack time.  My kids love to eat it with milk and eat it dry as a snack.  While we don't do this every time we eat it, it can be fun to find different letters - it has actually been great practice for D in this way.

For those who want the skinny on the nutritional facts - this cereal has 20 grams of whole grain per serving, 12 essential vitamins and minerals (including iron and zinc as well as vitamin D), and has 6 grams of sugar per serving.

The back of the box is pretty fun too.

I love that Alpha-Bits has teamed up with Super WHY and the Super Readers.  My children really enjoy watching Super Why, Wonder Red, Alpha Pig, and Princess Presto as they travel through Story Book Village to solve a super big problem with the help of classic children's fairy tales.  If you have never seen this show it is really engaging and my kids love solving the problems.

Covergirl Blast Flipstick

My latest Bzz Agent campaign is with Covergirl!  I have been trying out their blast flipstick - which is basically 2 lipsticks in 1 - a creamy, bold color on one side and a shimmery shade on the other!  This innovative, dual-ended lipstick is both fun and gives you endless shades of possibilities.  I love the way it lets you customize your color.  There are currently 13 shade duos available: Whisper, Pucker, Glimmer, Flashy, Vixen, Perky, Tease, Cheeky, Stunner, Snap, Smooch, Minx, and Intense.

Do you know what coupon love is?  Or at least that is what I call it.  Have you ever been at a store looking at a new item or possibly there to buy that exact item and you find a coupon that someone has left for you to use?  It is so exciting and so fun - I love it - this is what I call coupon love.  I have left some of my coupons around town at various Covergirl displays.

A Splash of Color

Have you heard of Benjamin Moore Paints?  My latest Bzz Agent campaign is with them!  I had the privilege to pick out a gallon of Aura paint, any color I wanted, and use it to upgrade our home.  We chose to add a splash of color to our back room, soon to be the children's new room.

I was impressed with the variety of paint offered and helpfulness of the employees.  The only down side I have to say about this paint is the cost, $70 gallon is a bit steep but the quality is amazing!

 So, what do you think?  I love this color!

The paint was extremely easy to apply and I was super impressed with the low odors.  It looked so great we also only needed one coat - awesome!

Smartfood Selects Review

Have you heard of Smartfood Selects?  My latest Bzz Agent campaign is with them!  They make delicious, all-natural snacks made with smart combinations of real herbs and spices.  They make a variety of popped chips, puffed corn and popcorn.  I sampled the buffalo cheddar popcorn, garlic tomato basil hummus popped chips and the Italian herb multigrain popped chips!

And you know what!  They are good, really good.  Unique flavors with a powerful and delicious taste.  Look at what happened to my garlic tomato basil hummus popped chips below.

The kids really enjoyed these.  I must admit that I thought the flavor might be too much for them but no - not that I thought it was too strong, that is just how my kids tend to be.  But they kept asking for more until my beloved chips were gone.

I really liked this popcorn!  I tend to think of popcorn either being buttery or sweet but this was neither of those.  It has a strong cheddar flavor with a bit of a kick.  In no way do I find this to be too spicy but I know that my kids would in this case.  So if you are looking for a light snack with a bit of a cheddar flavor, this would indeed be perfect.

Hidden Valley Ranch Campaign

Bzz Bzz Bzz - no that is not a bee!  Yes, I am at it again.  I love being a Bzz Agent and participating in campaigns, this time the Hidden Valley Ranch Campaign!  I received a free bottle of Ranch dressing and a dressing package.

 I took this to our last small group and I didn't come home with a single thing, everything was devoured :)!

Thoughts:  I really enjoyed this dressing.  It has a nice and creamy texture - I personally liked that it wasn't runny!  And the taste is delicious.  I am a fan of ranch dressing and Hidden Valley did not let me down.  I like that the packet only needed 2 other ingredients to make.  I am looking forward to using more packets in the future for more recipes.  Next time I would like to try using the pack on a chicken...

Glade Expressions Collection Review

Yes, I am at it again.  I love being a Bzz Agent and participating in campaigns, this time the Glade Expressions Collection!  I received free product coupons for both a fragrance mist and an oil diffuser starter kit.  There are several scents available including cotton and italian mandarin, fuji apple and cardamom spice, lavender and juniper berry and pineapple and mangosteen.

I choose to get both the oil diffuser and the fragrance mist in pineapple and mangosteen.  I wanted to be able to compare the products.

 I actually love the design and bamboo feel of this diffuser.  Looks great!

Thoughts:  This product works very well!  I think that the pineapple and mangosteen scent is very pleasing; however, I found this diffuser to be overpowering.  While I could not smell it in every room in my home, the room that it is in I find the scent too strong for my taste.  And since it is a diffuser, I cannot really adjust the fragrance level appropriately.  Love the packaging, love the scent, too overpowering in my opinion.  Unless Glade develops some way to monitor or adjust the scent level I will not be purchasing one of these diffusers.  Now, I will be purchasing the fragrance mist spray - again, nice scent, lasts for a few hours, but I can adjust the amount - Bingo!  While the mist spray does not match my decor as well as the diffuser it is a much more useful and practical product for me.  I can use it where I want (multiple rooms), only when I want, and in the quantity I want.  Thanks Glade for having several product options available for personal tastes.

UNREAL Candy Review

As a member of Bzz Agent, I was selected to participate in the UNREAL candy unjunked campaign!  Okay, so a bit about UNREAL.  They are made with all natural colors: red from beet juice, blue from purple cabbage, and orange from achiote seed.  Natural beeswax and carnauba wax give their products their shine.  And every gram of an UNREAL 8 bar has 499% more fiber and 50% more protein than the market leading products - that is impressive!

Here are the different ones that I was able to easily find at Walgreen's.  Special Note - they are currently clearanced to $0.24/piece - unbelievable price!  I found the UNREAL 41 Candy Coated Chocolates, UNREAL 54 Candy Coated Chocolates with Peanuts, UNREAL 8 Chocolate Caramel Peanut Nougat, and UNREAL 77 Peanut Butter Cups.

First up, my personal favorite - the UNREAL 8.  

This bar is good, really good!  I like the taste and the mix of the ingredients.  And the fact that it has so much fiber and protein really amazes me.

 The UNREAL 41 was not my favorite.  

I personally did not like eating them plain.  However, my children really liked them and kept asking for more.  I did find a way to enjoy them though...in trail mix.

 They were actually quite delicious mixed in with some nuts, raisins, and granola.  And they help keep the granola a bit healthier too - perfect.

I also really liked the UNREAL 77.  I found that these cups are a nice treat - they are healthier than their competitor and they are quite yummy!

In short, I think UNREAL is onto something here.  Developing products that are delicious and healthier for you is a great idea.  I really like that they use all natural ingredients.  While you may not like every one, I think that their current product line has something for everyone.  So, what are you waiting for?  Satisfy your sweet tooth today with an UNREAL - and let me know what you think!

High Heels and Tag

I must admit that I own exactly one pair of high heels.  I do love them though!  And I wear them on occasion.  Why do I not wear them more - they are not as comfortable as other shoes.  For this reason, I was super excited to be picked for the Bzz Agent Dr. Scholl's For Her High Heel Insoles campaign.

My thoughts:  These insoles were super easy to apply.  They have a adhesive strip that you peel off and apply to your heels.  Each insole is clearly labeled left or right, and toe and heel - making application a breeze!  This unique adhesive keeps the insoles in place and is practically invisible.  I found the FabuSTEP gel to provide extra cushioning and I would say that my heels were more comfortable.  In fact, right after I took the above picture I went shopping.  While I did not forget I was wearing heels in the parking lot, when I was browsing in the store there were several times that I completely forgot!

What does Tag have to do with anything?  Well, I decided to put my heels to the ultimate test and play a game of Tag with the kiddos.  And you know what, it was really fun!  Ultimately, I did have to take my heels off - not because of comfort this time - just because I couldn't catch my kids!
