Huggies Little Snugglers

Disclosure:  I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Huggies and Target.  I received samples and a promotional item to facilitate my review.

  Huggies Little Snugglers At Target

Do you have a favorite diaper right now that you use for your little one?  Have you heard of Huggies Little Snugglers?  They are available in grocery stores and mass retailers nationwide.

Baby F and I went to our local Target to find them!

I really liked that Target had the Huggies Diapers neatly displayed on the baby aisle and that it was easy to find a large box of size 2 Huggies Little Snugglers.  Prices were clearly displayed on the shelf itself and sale tags were there as well.

Baby F playing with our box at home!  I think he likes the baby.

 Our diaper station.

Huggies Little Snugglers are available in five different sizes, preemie through size 3 (preemie, newborn, 1, 2 and 3).  Baby F is currently in size 2 but I have a feeling it won't be too long before he movies into the 3.

In this photo you can see the waistband and indicator line as well as F's smile!

So, what's different about Huggies Little Snugglers?  They offer a unique and stretchy waistband.

 Stretchy Waistband

This waistband provides a secure fit while still being gentle and comfortable.  The secure fit and flexible, pocketed back of the waistband helps prevent leaks and blow-outs which is extremely important if you ask me.  Little Snugglers also have a GentleAbsorb liner providing a cushiony layer of protection while drawing messes away from your baby's skin.

A yellow indicator line means dry diaper while a blue line indicates a wet diaper.  Baby F is in need of a change in this photo.

They also have that fabulous indicator line that lets you know it is time for a change.  I have always appreciated diapers that have an indicator line.  While not always necessary it is super helpful!  And I love the Winnie the Pooh designs, so fun.

You probably already know that you can create a baby registry at Target?  It is convenient as friends and family can shop on-line or in stores, they have hassle free returns and exchanges, and best of all a 15% completion discount.   Go here to find out more.

Now once you create your Target registry, you will definitely want to check out the Huggies Register Your Wish Page?  When you add Huggies Little Snugglers diapers and Huggies Natural Care Wipes to your registry, you can then submit a wish for something that you would love to put on your registry but simply can't.  Maybe you need help with the bills, diapers for a year, a nursery makeover or a babymoon.  Whatever the desire, if you are selected as a winner, Huggies will do their best to make your wish come true!  For six months there will be one lucky winner every month with a prize value up to 5K.  Be sure to register and submit your wish today.  This contest ends 12/31/14.

Winning would make anyone smile!

Kidoodle.TV

Disclosure: I participated in a Blog Blast program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Kidoodle.TV. I received a promotional item and a free trial as a thank you for participating.

Have you heard of Kidoodle.TV?  Kidoodle.TV is designed specifically for the use and navigation by kids (ages 12 and under), ensuring an age-appropriate viewing experience.  It has an easy-to-use interface and allows for customizable kid profiles for up to 5 kids (perfect for A, B, B, D and E).  I love that there is no adult content and parental controls.

I easily downloaded it onto our iPad and set up profiles for the kids (there is an age category as well as de-selection) that allows parents to tailor available content for each of their children.  I started with the appropriate age categories for each of my kids and then deselected content I wasn't sure of or thought would be a bit much - love that I could do this!  Not only can I control the content of each child but I can also control the time screen, one child can have 30 minutes, one can have an hour and so on.  So in short, I really like the "Parents Room" for monitoring the content my kids can watch.  Oh and another biggie, Kidoodle.TV is free of advertising within the service.

There is a large variety of viewing selection.  Above are some of the options that A can watch.  So far we have enjoyed watching National Geographic Crittercam, Paddington Bear, Strawberry Shortcake and Hurray for Huckle.  I think it will be awhile before we get through all the programs and the kids can pick a favorite.  Mine so far are for sure the National Geographic episodes, I am a sucker for those!

Guess what?  Right now, Kidoodle.TV is running a Holiday Giveaway.  Try Kidoodle.TV for FREE and enter by December 31, 2013 to win 1 of 10 tablets or 1 of 10 Kiddodle.TV year-long subscriptions!  To enter the giveaway, go to Kidoodle.TV to sign up for a free trial.  Follow the on-screen directions and submit.  Good luck!  And I would love to know what you think.

Want to connect with Kiddodle.TV on other platforms?  You can follow them on twitter here and like them on facebook here.

Zact - Helping Parents and Their Children Have Mobile Success

Disclosure:  I participated in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Zact.  I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Even though my children are young they consistently want to use my phone, specifically my Iphone.  And I am amazed at how quickly they have learned how to pull up games, photos, movies - you name it.  When I first got my Iphone, I joked that they probably knew how to use it better than me.  I am waiting for the day when they ask for their own smartphone, I know it will be coming.  I think most parents, including me, have concerns about their children's mobile device usage.  The team at Zact conducted a survey to find out what is behind those concerns.  They found out that 73% of U.S. parents are concerned about the lack of parental control of their children's activities on mobile devices.  Yes, this is a concern of mine.  Honestly, I don't want my children on the Internet or to accidentally find themselves at inappropriate sites.  Do your kids currently have a smartphone?  While my kids do not have their own, they do have some access to mine.  For me, I want my kids to be safe - in the real world and the cyber world.  I am not surprised that others agree with me on this, 75% of parents are concerned about their children exploring the web too freely.  As my kids grow, they will certainly be allowed more privileges including Internet usage.  Internet safety will definitely be something that we talk about.  I am not sure if they will have smartphones at the age of 12 but there will definitely be discussions and boundaries set when they do!  For those that don't know, Zact designed parental control software and loaded it into their phones.  When your children are younger, you can set higher restrictions on the phone and as they grow, you can change the restrictions accordingly.  When that day comes and my children do receive a phone, I think this is the way to go!  See the Zact, U.S. Mobile Families Survey 2013 info-graphic below for other great statistics on kids and mobile usage!

For 3 days only starting today (8/13, 8/14, and 8/15) the Zact team is giving away three Smartphones, all with three months of mobile service!  Please enter here for your chance to win and learn more about Zact's services!

Cascade Platinum Shines in Performance

Disclosure:  I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Cascade.  I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Do you love washing dishes?  If you are like me, then the answer is no.  I don't really like pre-rinsing or even worse double-washing if my dishes do not come out clean the first time, who has time for that?  For the last week I have been using Cascade Platinum Pacs and I am super impressed.  Not only has it become super convenient to just pop one of the Cascade Platinum Pacs in my dishwasher (no mess, no measurements, no fuss) but my dishes have never looked cleaner.  My glass is actually sparkling.  I had forgotten that it was suppose to sparkle.  I guess my previous dishwashing product was not holding up and it took Cascade Platinum to show me that!  Let me show you a few examples.

What Cascade Platinum Pacs look like.

A very dirty pot - yep, spaghetti night!

 Not a drop of sauce!

Remember my breakfast smoothie?  I left the remains in my cup for a few days and put Cascade Platinum to the test.  I did not pre-rinse at all but instead put this glass straight into my dishwasher.

How about that glass?  Amazing, right?  I was beyond impressed.

VTech Switch & Go Dinos Review

Have you heard of VTech Switch & Go Dinos?  We recently received both Tonn The Stegosaurus and T-Don The Pteranodon.

Here is C holding up both dinos right before we opened
them!  I think the smile says it all.

They are geared for children ages 3 to 8 years and since I have three kiddos (almost 4) in this age range they have been super fun for our family!  I like that these toys morph from dinosaurs to cars so well allowing for extended creative play.  All my photos on this post are of C but trust me that the girls enjoy playing with them as well :)

 Pteranodon and C

Presto, Chango - now a cool car!

Each dino/car has an LCD screen that can be customized - the kids enjoy changing up the dinos eyes and the drivers faces in the different modes.  And there are some fun sound effects - fun phrases, car noises, dino noises (there is a volume control as well).  Honestly, my kids would love these even without all the sound effects.  I find them creating their own noises as these toys facilitate fun imaginary play.

Choose a driver!  C and Tonn as a car.

D needs help but A, B and C are able to transform from dino to vehicle without assistance; the transformation process is simple.  I do think that Tonn is slightly harder to transform than T-Don but the difference is minimal.  Bottom line - these dino/cars are engaging, durable, and extremely affordable.

Disclosure: I have received VTech Switch & Go Dinos to facilitate my review.  All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
