It's been a crazy week around here.  Our oven/stove caught fire earlier this week.  Thankfully, we were able to put it out without too much damage.  We will be without a stove for another week but I'm grateful that everyone is okay!  I'm also grateful that HEB never fails me on Pi Day.  I wasn't able to make as many homemade pies as previous years but we still enjoyed pie.  The girls and I made mini-chocolate pies and David and I picked up a cherry pie and an apple walnut pie courtesy of HEB.

Pi Day 2019

Happy Pi Day everyone!  I hope that you were able to celebrate today by eating some kind of pie!  Thanks to HEB we had several delicious options to choose from - we had chocolate pie, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, apple pie and cherry pie.  And of course, we still have a lot of Blue Bell ice cream in our freezer as well!  If you are in need of a dessert, feel free to come on over...

The kids and I went to the Texas Museum of Science & Technology this morning to celebrate Pi Day.  It was fun to walk through the butterfly maze, make Pi bracelets and see a few planetarium shows.  And of course we had pie - strawberry and chocolate were the choices this year.

Today is Pi Day, 3.14!  My family had a fun day celebrating with all different kinds of pies.  Enjoy!  And I hope you weren't too irrational today :).
