The Baseball game and the big splat

We had a great time at the Round Rock Express baseball game last night - and they won 3 to 2!! We let the kids live it up as they enjoyed hot dogs, lemonades, cotton candy, popcorn, and sno-cones! Did I mention we are broke now?? Just kidding but that is some serious dough. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and I got to hang out with my kiddos and my favorite guy!

And then we had the big splat. Somewhere around the 8th inning A and C had a minor collision which sent C head first into the concrete stairs. Sad times - but he is recovering well. Boys are tough I tell you. Here are a few pics.

Some Updates!

It has been awhile since I posted so I need to catch up a bit. I took this picture last week when the girls were playing care bears.

Where is B?

I realized that I did not post pictures of C's second birthday cake!! David made a car and the lights turned on and the back wheels spun around - it was pretty neat. Here are a few pics.

They Did It!

I am so proud of A and B. They had their Lion King recital last night; although it was way MORE than a recital it was a production really. The kids did such a great job. My two girls did it! They got on stage and performed and I could not be prouder. And what is more important to me is that they both had FUN! Now it is summer and we will start swimming but I have a strong feeling that we will be dancing again in the spring/fall and that there will be another performance next year.

C is now 2

Well, C turned 2 yesterday. My big boy is growing up so fast. We are having his party tomorrow but David made a few cupcakes and he received a few balloons for his special day.

The Bun (Run)

The Bun and I did the Bun Run today. My friend, Elizabeth, and I walked the Schlotzsky's Bun Run this morning - yeah!!

Our Getaway

David and I were able to get away this weekend without the kiddos. We haven't gotten to go away just the two us at night without the kids since I was ~ 5 months pregnant with B so this was a lot of fun! Of course the time was too short.

We went to a place called Creekside Cabins just outside of Marble Falls. We stayed in the Victorian Cabin. Here are a few pics of the place.

We had a great time and will probably go back if we get the opportunity. We would even consider taking the kids but we would not stay in the Victorian Cottage - we would stay in one of the other two cabins. If anyone needs a getaway and want to know more about Creekside Cabins feel free to ask!
