Fall Festival Fun

Last Friday we drove out to Hutto for a fall festival at the library and a "fantastic" performance by our uncle Kent, the magician.

Here's the proof.  All the pictures I took of the live performance were a little blurry - he moves so fast and it is hard to capture magic on film :)

A (Rapunzel) making her craft pumpkin.

D (Texans Cheerleader) chose to make a mask.

C (Spiderman) and B (Hello Kitty) working hard on their crafts.

Grandma and Grandpa came over the weekend for a visit.  E is smiling at them.

First time for Grandpa to meet E.

And Last night we went to a fall festival at a church in Round Rock.  We had so much fun.  They had bouncy houses, games, candy, snocones, cotton candy, popcorn, hot dogs, a silent auction and lots of fun!

The girls talked me into being Pocahontas.

This time B went as tea party Barbie.

Look at D's boots - she loves them!

And C went at Thomas the Train.  Again (like last year) they had the donut on the string game.  C did it this go around!

 B having her turn.

E went as an x-ray.  Her skeleton sleeper was glow in the dark!

And on another note, look what my neighbor gave me the other day.  Despite the drought, her garden is full of these peppers.  I love peppers and anything hot!  You know those contests, who can eat the hottest things - I think I could win - seriously!  Growing up I think my Dad could beat me but I think I can take him these days (no offense Grandpa).

So, I chopped them.  Now I am looking for a good recipe.  Any ideas?
