Holiday Wreaths with Dollar Tree

Remember my Fall crafts candy corn wreath and Table Display post with Dollar Tree?  I am back, this time with Holiday, Christmas themed wreaths!  Isn't it amazing how many things you can cross off your holiday "to do" list...and for just $1.00 each?

I received an amazing box of goodies from Dollar Tree to be creative.  I decided to make two different wreaths to share just how versatile and unique you can make wreaths using Dollar Tree items.  I guess it is the year of wreath making for me!  The first wreath I made is a general Holiday wreath and the second wreath I made is a candy cane wreath.  All the supplies used can be found at Dollar Tree.

Reindeer Moss

First I hot glued Reindeer Moss as the bottom layer of my Holiday wreath.

This is what your wreath will look like afterwards.

Dollar Tree has some great burlap flowers that clip onto things.  I simply stuck the clips into the wreath.

I hot glued some decorative branches around the wreath.

And voila, my finished Holiday wreath!

I had so much fun last month making my candy corn wreath that I decided to do another candy wreath, this time with candy canes!  It is pretty simple really.  We just layered candy canes all around the wreath until we were happy with the outcome and then attached a bow.

A was my candy cane helper.

Layer the candy canes around the wreath.  We broke the candy canes into smaller pieces for the bottom layers.

The first layer of candy canes.

Keep adding candy canes as you go...

 More layers of candy canes...

 All through adding candy canes

We added a bow for the final touch!

So, what do you think?  Are you looking to make a Holiday wreath or display?  Dollar Tree is your one stop shop for $1 seasonal decorations.

Disclosure:  Thanks so much to Dollar Tree for sending me items to facilitate this post.  I seriously love your store and hope to work with you again in the future!  All opinions expressed are my own.

Oh I love the candy cane wreath! How fun! Does it get sticky though?

Great question Heather! I just made it so I am not sure yet. Right now it is doing just fine. I do wonder if I could coat it with something to prevent it from getting sticky. I will let you know if I do that.

Ugh, I always forget to check out the Dollar Tree when I'm near it. But I'm definitely making a note of it so I can make some new wreaths & not break what little bank i have left.
