Chris Tomlin's new CD, Holy Roar
I have a great new CD to tell you about, Holy Roar by Chris Tomlin. I have loved Chris Tomlin's music for years and I remember back when he used to live in Austin! He has an amazing voice and I love his songwriting - he is so gifted. Not surprisingly, he has sold more than 8 million albums, 11.3 million digital tracks with 16 #1 singles - that is impressive!
The concept behind Chris's new album is freedom, experience, and the wonder of worship. It is seeing the church come together, hands lifted to God, pouring out our praise with an eternal song in our hearts. It's every voice together, changing the way we worship. This album has 12 songs: Holy Roar, Nobody Loves Me Like You, Resurrection Power, Goodness Love and Mercy, Satisfied, Impact, Praise Him Forever, Is He Worthy?, Forever Young, I Stand In Awe, Praise Is The Highway, and How Sweet It Is. And they are all good. No, really. A, D and I just took a trip to Dallas and we had the privilege of listening to this album both on the way there and on the way home. We all enjoyed it a lot. A thinks her favorite song on the album is Holy Roar. I love that she downloaded it to her iPod right away. Thanks Chris Tomlin for pouring your heart into another incredible worship CD.

Thank very much for painting just a review of this CD. My teenagers love Christian music, but with the changing trends it is hard to know which CD’s to buy. We are an old fashioned family that still likes to have an actual CD to listen to. We believe there won’t be “iTunes” forever!
