HelpTeaching Pro Subscription from HelpTeaching.com Review

{Disclaimer:  I received a FREE copy of this product through the HOMESCHOOL REVIEW CREW in exchange for my honest review.  I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way.}

As a homeschool family, I am often looking for great resources so I was so excited when we were given a HelpTeaching Pro Subscription from HelpTeaching.com that allows me to make homeschool worksheets or create my own tests and so much more!  This online subscription not only gives me the ability to create worksheets and tests of my own but it has online lessons as well along with already created tests and worksheets.

Above you can see my dashboard.
{You can see tabs for Tests and Worksheets, Lessons, Test Maker, Worksheet Generator, and Online Testing}

Above you can see some of the available online lessons for self-directed learning.

The premade content is great with a wide range of subjects (English/Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Math, etc.) and multiple grade levels (K-12).  There are tons of online lessons for students for self-directed learning.  Most of the lessons have a short introduction, followed with a lesson video and follow up questions to assess what your student has learned.  Lessons can be assigned easily by simple selecting the "Assign Lesson" icon.  I want to note that students do not need to have an account.

 A will be taking Physics next year so I wanted to browse through the Physics lessons and see what was available.  There are a few lesson appropriate for K, numerous lessons for 10th and 11th grade and a few for 12th and college).

A continuation of the content available for Physics.

Top 100 SAT Words Lesson

One of my favorite lesson sections that we have found so far is the top 100 SAT words.  A will be practicing and studying for her upcoming SAT this summer and this is such a great tool for her to use.

The video explaining the word abate.

The video gives each word, a short definition, uses it in a sentence and gives you a picture to go along with it too.  I love this visual approach.

You can access the free ready made printable online worksheets, quizzes and activities by grade level or by subject.  You can also use the search bar if you are trying to find something specific.  These activities can be done online using the Test Room feature or you can simply print them out.  I really appreciate having both options available.  I have not used the online Test Room feature yet but I have printed out several worksheets.

Check out all of the life skills worksheets available.

 Math Worksheets and Game Generators

 You can create word searches or Bingo Cards.

Above is the English/Language Arts section for Word Puzzles.

 Above you can see an already made word search for 3 and 4 letter words.

Using the tools on the right, I created a worksheet for F.  This is super user friendly and easy to make.

And here is F completing his word search!

 I really like that we have access to HelpTeaching.com's library of questions, videos and images to use as needed.

There are 3 main options for creating your tests.

You can create a test by naming it and adding your own questions.  You can find questions in HelpTeaching.com's library to use with or without your own questions.  Or you can create a quick test by specifying a keyword, grade level and number of questions.  And if you get lost or confused, there are lots of tutorials to help you along the way.  This site really does make test making easy!

I feel like I have only been dipping my toes into everything HelpTeaching.com has to offer me and our homeschool.  I plan on incorporating several lessons into our summer days and I definitely see us using this more to supplement subjects when the next school year begins.  I'm grateful to have this resource available to me.

No matter what program we use, I find that I always have to supplement at some point and print or create my own materials. Help Teaching looks like an ideal resource!
