David and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary today!  It's hard to believe that our marriage is old enough to drink 🤣.  Cheers to many more!

Losing Loved Ones Doesn't Get Easier

Last Saturday was the one year anniversary of the day my Dad passed away.  He died suddenly and unexpectedly.  I can't believe it has been a year.  Grief is a funny thing.  People tell you that things will be easier in time.  But you don't really "get over" the loss of a loved one.  I'm not sure it's easier but I guess you learn to cope and live without them.  Their memory lives on.  I miss my Dad very much and I always will.  I'm thankful that he knew my kids.

My 14th Anniversary

Today is my 14th wedding anniversary!  Looking back I would have never predicted that we would have six children but I wouldn't change a thing.  Every one of our children is a huge blessing in my life and I am so thankful. 

 

It has been an amazing 14 years, not perfect but a beautiful work in progress.  I love you David!  May the Lord continue to refine us.

10 Years Today

Ten years ago today I made one of the best decisions of my life, I married my husband.  I think about all the things we have accomplished together and it amazes me.  We have had four beautiful children, and I have no doubt that this fifth one will be amazing as well!  We have been on a financial adventure together paying off ~ 60K in student loans and credit cards, thankfully we don't have credit cards anymore!  We have mourned family losses and celebrated many joys!  I look forward to what the next 10 years might bring for us - love you David - even more than I did 10 years ago!!
