A is at the Archery State games this week. I'm so proud of her. She shot her 1st event this morning and she has many more scheduled throughout the rest of the week. Good luck A 🏹 🞋.
The kids are currently involved in numerous activities. I thought I'd give an update on a few of them. I'll continue this in another post I'm sure 😉. C is playing baseball and he just joined the Austin Royals track team. He had his 1st meet last Saturday. He ran the 1 mile and 2 mile as he prefers long distance running. There was a mix-up with his 2 mile time (he had to run an extra lap) but he completed his fastest 1 mile time at 6:08! It's not quite competitive for his age but I am super impressed with his individual performance and his desire to improve.
A competed in the Rodeo Archery competition again this year! She came in 4th place. I'm so proud of her. She improved her score from last year and was competing against girls who have been involved in archery for many, many years.
. I think I might need to get her a medal holder now!
I got to take A to an archery and rifle competition over the weekend! It was a lot of fun but this Texas weather was brutal with the heat and humidity. David has taken her to most of her other competitions through the year so it was fun to have my turn to cheer her on. She had a lot of fun and placed 1st in 3D archery for her division with barebow and she also placed 2nd in 18m barebow. I love watching this girl compete 😀.
I'm thinking this was a great Christmas gift for A. She has definitely put it to good use! It has a few holes 🏹 🞋.
This weekend A competed in the Archery Competition at the Houston Rodeo for Barebow. I am proud to say that she came in 3rd place and won a cash prize. She is over the moon! Archery is such a cool sport 🏹.
