Kutless CD ALPHA / OMEGA Review & Giveaway

If you enjoy christian music I am sure that you have heard of the group Kutless, a band that's been around for 15+ years.  Their style is a mix of rock and worship and their songs are really good.  I love that they focus on sharing the gospel with younger generations.  In 2012 they formed EOTA Ministries (End of The Age) to expand their outreach across the globe.  EOTA is a non-profit arm that helps Kutless host large, free concerts and outreach events.  You may recognize a few of their No. 1 radio singles "Strong Tower", "What Faith Can Do" and "Carry Me To The Cross."

I am excited to tell you about their new CD, ALPHA / OMEGA.  The album track-list includes Your Great Name, Strong Tower, King of My Heart, Cornerstone, You are Love, Great are You Lord, Your Love Awakens Me, Shepherd of My Soul, Gave It All, and No Wonder.

You may have heard the debut radio single from this album, "King of My Heart."  Check out their video of this song below.

I have to admit, there isn't a song on this CD that I don't like.  It is so uplifting and encouraging.  I have been playing this album daily and I can't help but smile more and worship the Lord more.  Just put this CD on repeat and your heart will thank you!  Interested in purchasing ALPHA / OMEGA, check it out here.  Don't forget to enter the giveaway below to win your own copy of this CD.

Laura Story's Open Hands Album Review & Giveaway

I have a new CD album to tell you about, Open Hands by Laura Story.  I was already familiar with Laura for her smash hits "Mighty to Save" and "Blessings".  She also has penned hit songs for other renowned artists including Chris Tomlin's "Indescribable".  If you know those worship songs, they are pretty amazing so I was super excited to receive Laura's new album, Open Hands.

This album is just as amazing as I expected!!  The songs are uplifting and inspiring and just beautiful.  Laura has a truly gifted voice and this album is beautiful to listen to.  The very first song on the album, "Death Was Arrested" is my absolute favorite.  In fact, I love it so much I wanted to share the lyrics below - so touching.  I highly, highly recommend this album.

[Verse 1]
Alone in my sorrow and dead in my sin
Lost without hope with no place to begin
Your love made a way to let mercy come in
When death was arrested and my life began

[Verse 2]
Ash was redeemed only beauty remains
My orphan heart, was given a name
My mourning grew quiet, my feet rose to dance
When death was arrested and my life began

[Chorus 1]
Oh Your grace, so free
Washes over me
You have made me new
Now life begins with You

[Verse 3]
Released from my chains I'm a prisoner no more
My shame was a ransom He faithfully bore
He cancelled my debt and He called me His friend
When death was arrested and my life began

[Chorus 2]
Oh Your grace, so free
Washes over me
You have made me new
Now life begins with You
It's Your endless love
Pouring down on us
You have made us new
Now life begins with You
Ohh with You

[Verse 4]
Our Saviour displayed on a criminal's cross
Darkness rejoiced as though Heaven had lost
But then Jesus arose with our freedom in hand
That's when death was arrested and my life began, ohhh!

[Chorus 2]
Oh Your grace, so free
Washes over me
You have made me new
Now life begins with You

Ohh, it's Your endless love
Pouring down on us
You have made us new
Now life begins with You

[Post-Chorus]
Oh we're free, free
Forever we're free
Come join the song
Of all the redeemed ...

Yes we're free, free
Forever amen
When death was arrested and my life began

We're free, free
Forever we're free
Come join the song
Of all the redeemed ...

Yes we're free, free
Forever amen
When death was arrested and my life began
When death was arrested and my life, began ...
