Pumpkin Patch Fun

D mixed in with the pumpkins.

I love October!  I love the weather.  I love the leaves.  I love the colors.  And I love seeing pumpkins everywhere.  David and I finally took the kids down to a nearby pumpkin patch for a little photo shoot.  Baby G was snoozing so I only have a photo of him in his car seat.  I love the way the photos turned out.  I hope you enjoy them.  Happy October!

A having fun.  This is a good photo of her in her cast.

We purchased a pie pumpkin as David will be making pumpkin pie soon but that's another post...

My Emoji Party

Emoji Angel Food Cake

I am officially 39!  I haven't jumped over to the 40s yet but I am less than year away now.  David and the kids planned an emoji themed party for me on Saturday and it was so much fun!  I loved the homemade decorations and cards that the kids made, they were so creative.

I love this crew so much!  Check out D's emoji face.

Presents!

The kids used yellow balloons and a sharpie and went to work creating emoji balloons.  I love how they turned out.

Here you can see that they taped them to Mason Jars to hold them up.

 Themed plates from Walmart

I am scheduled to have gall bladder surgery on November 4th and I have to be super careful with my diet right now or I end up having a terribly painful abdominal episode.  I thought it was so sweet that David made me an angel food cake, which is safe for me to eat :).  Enjoy the photos!

 My slice of cake

A little blurry but I have to include a photo of me - now 39!

D and B are talking about having an Emoji themed party in December.  It's up to them but I hope they do.  It's a theme in which you cannot help but smile!

Just Between Friends Williamson County Fall Sale: My Loot

Earlier today I was able to make it to the Just Between Friends Williamson County Fall Event Sale!  I had so much fun.  If you are local, you really need to check it out.  The facility is super spacious and it's easy to look around and shop.

The signs are fabulous and it is easy to tell where items are located.  This is super helpful if you are looking for specific things.  I was amazed at the selection of items as well as the quality and you simply cannot beat the prices!

There is a nice selection of brand new Melissa & Doug items discounted!

Here is what I came home with!

F has needed a hat for awhile so I was pumped to find this Spider Man hat for only $3.

These reindeer Robeez for Mister G are so cute! Only $4.50

Closer view of Robeez.

 Melissa & Doug

I am a sucker for educational items and I love Melissa & Doug.  The activity books were $4, the crayons were $1.50 and the world map was $2.50 - all items are new.

I thought these brand new teething necklaces were fun so I picked out a blue one for $9.50.

I also picked up a brand new pair of swim goggles for E for $4, a few books for the kids for $1/$2, a shirt for David for $5, a pair of jeans for F for $1.50, a shirt for F for $3 and a pair of jeans for D/E for $4.  As you can see, the prices are fabulous.  If you are able I urge you to check it out.  You are sure to find something or lots of somethings!

Remember, on Saturday most of the items will be 1/2 off.  I just may have to go back :).

Happy "Biggie" Princess Birthday Party Miss E!

Birthday Girl, Princess "Elsa" E

Yesterday, E turned 5 on the 5th and had her "Biggie" birthday!  She had a fabulous celebration last Saturday.  We had a pony with a petting zoo, and a pink and purple castle bounce house for entertainment and fun.  Enjoy the photos!

David made a fun castle cake, pink lemonade flavor per E's request.

Another view - I love the graham cracker door.

I love her smile.

Purple and Pink Princess Castle Bounce House

Check out this amazing bounce house we rented from Addy & Jax Bounce House Rentals.  They were super friendly and so easy to work with - I would highly recommend them, great price too!

Petting Zoo

And then we had a petting zoo and pony in the front yard.  The weather was awesome and the kids had a great time.  This is the second time we have had a pony and petting zoo from El Rancho and they have done a great job both times.  Again, I would definitely recommend them.

Birthday Girl taking a pony ride.

 Another ride on "Little Boy".

 C taking a ride.

D was the first to ride.  After E saw her ride she wanted a turn.

I love Mister F on the pony.  He looks so big here.

Bunny heaven...

 Aunt Jane!

A and B with Aunt Jane and a baby duck.

I loved watching the baby pig.

I'm sure you can tell that E had a great time.  Thanks so much to everyone who helped us celebrate!

Just Between Friends Fall Sale Event October 6-8th

Just Between Friends has their Fall Sale Event coming up this week, October 6-8th!  Local friends,  I have free passes for you.  Yes, free passes!  So clear your schedule and make time for this event, you won't regret it.

You may be asking, what is Just Between Friends?  Well, JBF is North America's leading children's and maternity consignment event.  Essentially JBF is a pop us consignment store where families can clean out their kids' outgrown items and get paid for clearing out the clutter.  I can attest to this as I was a consignor for JBF several years ago and I remember making $300.

How does this help you if you are not a consignor?  You can shop!  You can shop for your kiddos for 50-90% off of retail prices.  As a Mom of 7, this is huge for me.  I can find super deals without sacrificing quality.  Besides the tens of thousands of items to shop from, there will also be family friendly activities going on including a princess appearance, a professional juggling show, face painter, and more!  Another special thing about JBF Williamson County is that they have a recall specialist who comes out to check to make sure there aren't any recalled items on the floor and that everything meets the US safety standards so you can shop worry free of that.  No wonder they have won Austin Area's Best Consignment Event and Most Loved for the last 2 years.

So bring your biggest shopping bags or laundry baskets and a friend to the event if possible.  They accept cash, checks, debit, and credit cards for your convenience.  There will also be JBF bags for sale at checkout if you need them.

Want to get a feel for the event?  Watch the video below.  And check out their facebook page for the latest details.  I hope to see you there!
