Name Bookmarks and Amazing Name Print Activity Sheets from CrossTimber Review

{Disclaimer:  I received a FREE copy of this product through the HOMESCHOOL REVIEW CREW in exchange for my honest review.  I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way.}

If you are searching for personalized gifts for the holidays, I want to share with you Name Bookmarks and Amazing Name Print Activity Sheets from CrossTimber.  You may remember our previous review of their Your Amazing Name - Personalized Adventures for EVERY name, which F loves!  This time I was blessed to receive 5 of their Name Bookmarks.  I chose to get bookmarks for A, B, C, D and E.  My plan is to use them as one of their stocking stuffers (shh, it's a surprise).  I also received the Amazing Name Print Activity Sheets for G!

There are lots of choices for your bookmarks!

There are over 200 styles and designs to choose from when creating your personalized bookmarks.  Above you can see some of the selection for bookmarks with wings.  I ended up choosing one of these designs for A's bookmark because she loves birds.  You can choose from outdoor scenery, ocean sunsets, castles, lighthouses, Faith & Inspiration, meaningful symbols and so much more!  With all the choices it's easy to create a unique design for everyone.  I chose a faith design for B, a drum design for C since he plays the drums, a ladybug design for D, and a jewel design for E.  After choosing your design, you can choose your bookmark quote from 5 different categories - quotes from Presidents, Authors, Definitions of Encouraging Character Qualities, Bible verses to fit the name meaning or custom text.  I chose Bible verses for all of the kids.

Our bookmarks include each person's name in calligraphy, the meaning of their name and an appropriate scripture in each of the backgrounds I hand picked for them.  I love the way each of them turned out.  Each bookmark is laminated to give them extra durability.  The colors are bold and bright and I am hoping the kids enjoy them too.

As I mentioned above I also received the Amazing Name Print Activity Sheets for G.  They have his name incorporated into tracing, color sheets, mazes, word searches, and many other fun activities.  G loved them and his older siblings helped him with some of the "harder" sheets for him.

G tracing his name.

I showed G how to write his name in red and he traced the bottom line in green.  I think he did a great job for 4.

I love this picture that A colored for G.

And this owl is pretty fantastic too!

The Amazing Name Print Activity Sheets are lots of fun!  I enjoyed seeing how G's name was incorporated into the various activities in creative ways.  There are various difficulty levels throughout the pages from simple coloring pages to challenging coloring and more.  If you are looking for fun personalized gifts and activities, we would highly recommend CrossTimber and their selection of name meaning gifts!

Etsy Spotlight: Art By Kelly Michelle

I have a fun Etsy shop to tell you about, Art By Kelly Michelle.  As you probably guessed from the name the owner is Kelly Michelle and she makes art.  Her products include bookmarks, magnets, greeting and note cards, gift bags and gift tags, and stickers just to name a few!

Love these Apple Bookmarks - so fun!

Need some Thanksgiving cards?  These would be perfect.

First a little about Kelly Michelle and how her shop came to be.  The idea for her own art business came in 7th grade, but it wasn't until a lot later that this desire came back and came true.  At the end of last year, she remembered her dream to own her own art business.  She saw a feature for Etsy on a daytime talk show, checked out the site, and loved it!!  After a few months of preparation, her Etsy shop was born.  She has always loved to draw, so it became obvious to use her own drawings in her shop.

Kelly graciously sent me two bookmarks, stickers, and gift tags for review!

I love the colors and originality of her products.  Her designs are both whimsical and fun and I really appreciate that.  I also really like that they coordinate.  The bookmarks are my favorite.  Of course, A and B immediately confiscated them when they first saw them - they love them too!  I do not know about you but we can never seem to have enough bookmarks around here - with all of our school books, library books and general fun reading books we use a lot of them!

The purple bookmark lives in B's reader book.

Here she is proudly showing me.

I am looking forward to using my butterfly stickers and heart gift tags as embellishments on upcoming gifts.  Be sure to check out Kelly Michelle's shop for yourself.  I should also mention that everything is extremely reasonably priced.

Disclosure:  I received the above products to facilitate my review.  All opinions expressed are 100% mine.  Thanks so much to Kelly Michelle!

Father's Day Bookmarks

A friend of mine sent me a blog link for making cute bookmarks of your kids.  I took a look at it here and thought I could do that!  So, yesterday the kids and I did just that.  I am so pleased with how they turned out.  I made five bookmarks (one of each kid) for Grandpa, Puppa, and of course Daddy for this Father's Day!  I love creative gifts (especially ones that include photos).

I had the kids make poses.  Here is D in her pose.

I cut the photos out as close as possible.  I wrote the kids names and ages on the back of the bookmarks for fun.  Then I laminated them and added the tassels.

Here is D's finished bookmarks.

I love the different poses and different sizes.  I think it is pretty funny that E is the biggest one and A is the smallest.  So, what do you think?
